So you’ve finally decided to get on a plane and go somewhere, now what?? Are you into lush vacays, the spa, room service? Welp, since in this space we are trying to inspire and motivate, I am challenging all my luvs to get out and explore (MORE) at their next vacation destination!
Exploring gets you a bit out of your comfort zone and gives you a new perspective on life, culture, and people. For me, and I know some of you, the point of travel is for spiritual growth, mental growth, and knowledge(on top of the whole escape thingy lol ). I try and keep a healthy balance of luxury and learning; these are things you gain when you get out. Take the time to see how other people live, find gratitude in your blessings, and really immerse yourself in to other lifestyles. It could be ONE day out of your entire trip, but the local people are often generous and welcome you in to their cultures and traditions.
Commonly in tourist places you visit, there will be people trying to sell you things, out-bargain you, and really just make money for their families. Saying no is simple, but rather than looking at “poor” people, choose to see people no different than you, trying to make a way for themselves and providing. I put poor in quotation marks, because I have seen some of the richest people with no money. I will expound on that topic soon enough, because there is so much depth to the previous sentence.
Since we’ve been reviewing Croatia, I will include pictures of my explorations there, as well as in my Instagram Highlights I reviewed just a few countries I’ve been to.
When I went to Croatia, I hadn’t watched G.O.T (Game of Thrones), but I knew some of it was filmed there. There are tours everywhere, themed shops, and tons of G.O.T memorabilia. That isn’t what I was there for, so I didn’t partake, but when I came home and started watching, it was pretty cool to see some of my pics were where it was filmed and I didn’t even know it!
One of the most tourist friendly, and popular cities is Dubrovnick. The Castle is the most visited place, it’s actually called King’s Landing, they didn’t just make that up for the show (lol). But, ONCE AGAIN, let me warm all you Croatia dreamers, that there. are. stairs. EVERYWHERE! The views that come after all the trekking is MORE than worth it though, honestly. The life lesson in that is; All the most difficult tasks can come, but the end results should make it all worth it.
Croatia has such a unique beauty. A lot of European countries have a rustic history, especially in comparison to the United States a.k.a ” The New World(lol).” They all offer something that is unique to them, and as I explore more counties and continents on the globe, I’ll be sure to include them for you luvs.

I have a list of great countries to visit, and will continue to make summary posts for y’all at the various places I visit.
