Plitvice National Park

Pronounce “Plitz-vitz-e” this cascading waterfall filled trail will sure to leave your senses in awe. This Park is opened daily and can be visited all through the seasons. If fall or winter is your time to go, then go. The scenery is picturesque and they have tucked away photo areas where you can get great shots. All of creativity is up to you. To get in you purchase tickets for less than $10. You pay for the beauty, and a workout comes included.

In order to get to the biggest waterfall, you have a journey down mountains and stairs. At the beginning of the path, there are options on which journey you want to take and they’re marked on a map as well as there are check points along the way. I knew I wanted to reach the grand waterfall, and I got mini waterfalls along the way. The water was all different colors depending on where the sun hit it or how close it was to the falls. You could see fish swimming and enjoying their ripples on a sunny day,

We got there early enough to beat the crowds which start moving in in waves, so early in the a.m. and closer to dusk would be ideal times. I didn’t catch a sunset painting, but I’m sure getting there during those hours are breathtaking.

I want to strongly note that it is a hike down, up, and around. There are wooden laid walkways that I am pretty sure won’t be the most comfortable walk during peak times when there is a lot of people traffic going both ways. There are different challenged paths and you can choose which one you take, but all paths lead to home. Pack your sneakers for this one, and don’t expect to go in the water. This Park is for your viewing pleasure.

Below are videos and pictures of the park…… if you visit, have visited, or will be visiting tag “#everythingkoko” so I can see your creative angles! 1 luv…….
